Cave Entrance

Approaching the cave entrance, you notice two figures standing guard at the mouth of the cavern. They're goblins, small and wiry, armed with crude weapons and clad in ragged leather armor. Their eyes gleam with malice as they scan the surroundings, ever vigilant for intruders.

GM Description

The cave entrance leads into a narrow passageway, barely wide enough for one person to pass through at a time. The walls are rough-hewn stone, damp with moisture, and slick with patches of moss. Faint shafts of light filter in from outside, but they offer little illumination in the depths of the cave.

The goblin guards stand on either side of the entrance, their weapons at the ready. Their presence adds an extra layer of tension to the already foreboding atmosphere of the cave.

Challenges
  • Goblin Sentry: The goblin guards are on high alert, ready to sound the alarm at the first sign of intrusion. Characters must find a way to either incapacitate or bypass the guards without alerting them to their presence.
    Internal Motivations:
    • Tired and Hungry: these guards are at the end of a 10 hour shift had haven't eaten anything
    • Injured: One of the sentries is nursing an injury and walks with a slight limp due to pain
